Our Story
EM Smart Vending is a family business, founded and run by Andrea and Marcus Akoto. We’re not a faceless corporate vending supplier. We’re a husband and wife team who genuinely care about the businesses we serve and the people who use our machines every day.
The venture started when we experienced unmanned retail whilst travelling abroad and knew that too many UK workplaces still rely on outdated, clunky vending machines that take cash, break down constantly, and stock the same boring products year after year.
With smart technology, contactless payments, and a truly customer first approach, we set out to change the vending industry. One workplace at a time.
What We’ve Built
Since launching, we’ve installed smart vending machines in offices, warehouses, and gyms. We also have care homes and build to rent developments in the pipeline for 2026 across the region. Every installation is personal to us. We handle everything ourselves. From the initial site visit to ongoing restocking and maintenance.
